If the virtual machine is with a GUI, then you can use non-headless.
If there is no GUI, then only headless.
You can click on the coordinates in the viewport this way and that.

The video card can be either integrated or separate or even external. Cloud virtual machines come with or without a video card. If there is no video card, then, as already mentioned by other participants, there is a headless mode
