Google Maps

Is it possible to use pictures based on google maps in my project?

Greetings, I just heard the opinion at the rally that images obtained from google maps cannot be used on the site - please insert a map, but images obtained from these maps - not.
I myself somehow did not find where such a ban is specifically prescribed, where the use of images obtained from google maps is regulated.
But then I came across such a service - https://snazzymaps.com/
The service allows you to quickly create stylized maps, as well as download ready-made pictures, in a free account up to 1000x1000px in size and up to 10 pieces per day.
On this site, the footer says:

All styles are licensed under creative commons and are completely free to use.

But there, a little higher -
Snazzy Maps is a repository of different styles for Google Maps aimed towards web designers and developers.

And how does it fit in?

As far as I know, free maps can be taken from here https://www.openstreetmap.org

Have you tried reading the license agreement?
https://www.google.com/intl/ru_ru/help/terms_maps.html (p. 2a)
Let me translate: "all STYLES ... are free to use".
Style is a text file with layer settings, colors, coordinates. For example:
{
        "elementType": "labels",
        "stylers": [
            {
                "visibility": "off"
            },
            {
                "color": "#f49f53"
            }
        ]
    }
