Is it possible to use a Wi-fi router as a modem / adapter (wi-fi receiver)? How to implement it?
I have heard that a Wi-fi modem can be used as a router through a specific software set (or a couple of built-in utilities in Windows 7>). But the modem is, in theory, a less bulky and simpler device. For some reason, it is not mentioned anywhere and there is no article about using a router / router instead of a modem (connecting via LAN)
