Is it possible to use a site on github pages for authorization in the social network API?

For authorization in the API of various social networks, in order to receive a token, registration of the site is required, from which requests to the API will then be made. Is it possible to specify the address of the site hosted on github pages for these purposes, are there any restrictions associated with this? And if it is possible, then in what form then to store / transfer the keys for authorization?

No. _ True, this is not a ban, only a purely IMHO.
The reason is simple: your backend is in full view. You can fork, disassemble the code and find a Very Serious Bug that will kill your service.
