Hello, I want to open a small store (grocery), I would like to know if it is possible not to buy a specialized cash desk, but to buy only an ordinary PC with a fn, a receipt printer, a barcode scanner, and install the appropriate software on it, approximately - 1c retail.
PS I looked at the characteristics of cash registers (pos systems) and did not see any fundamental differences from the PC, but I would like to clarify
