Is it possible to use a framework to create an app as part of a website?

Good afternoon!
Let's say we have a website, an online store. Showcase, product detail pages, personal account and shopping cart. The project was created entirely in yii2, without the use of Angular. Can the PA and shopping cart be made separate spa applications built with Angular 1(2) and integrated as part of the main project? More precisely, the main question is what should be considered during development and what will be the difference from, for example, the case when we create a project completely using Angular as a single SPA? I would be grateful if you share your experience of such development and perhaps some information to "read")) Thank you!
