Is it possible to transfer Windows and another HDD?

Good day! I have Windows which is on the lok. drive D, there is little space left. Would it be possible with a live CD to first slice the disks by creating two local disks and then just copy Windows with the folders to the C drive.
Would that work?

You cannot change the volume letter without reinstalling the system.
If it's already on D, then leave it there.
Transfer to another physical disk - no problem, even a LiveCD is not required, everything can be done using regular methods, from the interface of Windows itself.

you can just transfer everything big to another partition (ntfs) and stick hard links back.
