Is it possible to transfer a website to another domain name with just a 301 redirect?
Hello! Question for SEO experts. I have a website sitename.com , I want to transfer it to the domain name sitename2.com . If I set up only 301 redirects on the site using the .htaccess file without manipulating the SearchConsole/Yandex WebMaster .
That raises 3 questions:
1. Is it possible to organize the move only with the help of 301 redirects, and if so, then:
2. Will I lose positions in Google (it is a priority)?
3. How long will the move take?

yes, 301 is in priority. the rest of the manipulations are nonsense.
positions at first will definitely sink a little, then they will return.
keep 301 at least a couple of months, but preferably as long as possible
No, for Yandex you can’t do this.
Positions in any case, even with the right move, you will lose temporarily, with the wrong one, you will lose even more
