Is it possible to stream music not from a device that is connected to the web interface, but from a server?

I have a raspberry pi with a custom web interface. How can I launch a melody from the web interface not on the connected device (phone) but directly on the raspberry?
ps. no GUI on raspberry pi

Write a CGI script through which you control any convenient console player. Further to your self-made web muzzle you add conveniences to call the CGI script.
