Is it possible to specify the type Enumeration for the form attribute of a directory element?

1C 8.3, SCP 1.3 (regular application).
In my "Nomenclature" reference book, the element form has an attribute that can contain three string values: A, B and C.
I want to make the user select one of these values ​​from the drop-down list.
Is it possible, without creating a separate directory to store A, B and C, just set the attribute to an enumeration type (like an enum in Python), directly specifying all possible values?
