Is it possible to somehow request only html from the site server?

Actually a subject. I sit on a very frail channel, in a private house. When I download torrents (and I download a lot of them), loading sites turns into hell. 5-10 seconds for 2018, this is too much. Is it possible to somehow ask the site to give only html, plus markup with scripts. in short, do not load the graphon, all sorts of pictures and other rubbish?

There is a disable-HTML plugin for Chrome . You can conveniently disable JS, CSS, Images, Cookies, Popups.

Check your browser. Almost every browser has the ability to disable image loading.
For example for Firefox:
Open about:config, look for "permissions.default.image"
option Available options
1 -- always load
2 -- don't load any images
3 -- don't load images that are loaded by third-party plugins or scripts.
