Is it possible to somehow connect the backup Internet (usb modem, SIM card) not directly to the router, but via a twisted pair cable?

There is a main router - Mikrotik, stands at the entrance, a twisted pair goes from it through the rooms, you need to make a backup Internet channel. There is a USB modem, but where the router is located, it does not catch the connection. Something I can’t figure out is it possible to organize a backup catalog somehow on a budget, given that the device in which the SIM card will be connected to the main router via twisted pair?

Thanks to comrade poisons for some clarification.
As a result: if you need to connect a backup channel based on LTE, but for example, in the place where the main router is located, it does not catch, you can connect another router with a USB modem or with a built-in SIM slot via a twisted pair cable (for example, Mikrotik, there are models with power via POE and built-in modem) and configure it considering the 4g interface as a separate provider (there are many options for how to do this, preferably with recursive routes, but you can also use scripts and netwatch).
