Is it possible to set up an RDP connection to the GNOME desktop?

Good day to all!
I'm new. Installed Debian, installed XRDP, xfce4 GUI. I am connected on RDP, everything works. I'm trying to run the script - I get an error:

/bin/lscript/l: line 5912: gnome-terminal: command not found

I have an xfce4 shell, so the script swears at it. Question - what do I need to do?
Do I need to change my graphical shell so that I can RDP into GNOME? Or change something in the script?
Thanks for answers!

@nimmeri

it is best to work with unix systems not via rdp but via ssh right away with the console, and you will get to know the system better and avoid problems with the graph shell.
