Is it possible to run a non-linux compiled program on linux?

There is an At91 microcontroller, linux is understood on it (kernel version 2.6, no more details), and a program has been compiled for this microcontroller.
Is it possible to run this program from under linux or somehow in parallel?

So you decide what the program is compiled for. Under a different hardware platform or software.
See if QEMU knows the right hardware platform.
