Is it possible to restore the router after an unsuccessful flashing? (edimax br-6228nc)

For some reason I decided to update the firmware, because there was a very old version, but I did not wait long enough after flashing before restarting, or something went wrong. After the second restart, the router seemed to work, but then the wireless network disappeared, connected it with a wire, saw the provider's page on which I was told that the poppy had changed and the offer to save the changes, I agreed. (the old poppy of the router was replaced by a poppy of the laptop). Well, I thought a little. But, having connected the second computer through the wire, I again see the same provider page but with a new poppy (now the second computer). DHCP does not work for the router, I get IP from Provo. and at the same time I can use only one computer (the poppy of which I will save in the settings of the provider).
The web interface does not work, the router does not respond, just do not see it.

I tried to upload the firmware via tftp but I could not get a connection, on the Internet all the instructions boiled down to:

Set a static ip 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1
, hold down the reset button on the turned off router, turn on the router.
and run tftp -i 192.168.1.6 put c:\firmware.bin or ( tftp -i 192.168.2.1 put c:\firmware.bin 192.168.2.6 )

in some manas it is written that for a second after turning on the router it pings, in others it just doesn’t ping, but the firmware is uploaded via tftp anyway. I tried all the options but didn’t succeed, I always get:
Timeout occurred
Connect request failed

I tried the console tftp and the version with gui, I tried to specify the password. Somewhere else they advised to use asus' router recovery, but there were no results either.

If you turn on the router by holding the reset button, then power lights up, wlan flashes once and the connected lan lights up.
If you do not hold down reset, then the wlan indicator lights up for five seconds, then it goes out and then lan lights up.
Therefore, I suspect that the router is included in recovery mode, but I don’t know why I can’t flash it.

What other recovery options are available? I don't want to throw away the iron.

Weird. You see the web interface of the provider, but the router does not work for you. Draw a complete diagram of the current connection.
Should be:
computer <-------> router <----> provider
In the router for flashing, you most often need to stick into the first port.
In safe mode, routers usually take IP 192.168.1.1, try setting it to 192.168.1.2 and ping 1.1. It's most likely a router. There and pour the firmware.
