Is it possible to restore the router after an unsuccessful flashing? (edimax br-6228nc)
For some reason I decided to update the firmware, because there was a very old version, but I did not wait long enough after flashing before restarting, or something went wrong. After the second restart, the router seemed to work, but then the wireless network disappeared, connected it with a wire, saw the provider's page on which I was told that the poppy had changed and the offer to save the changes, I agreed. (the old poppy of the router was replaced by a poppy of the laptop). Well, I thought a little. But, having connected the second computer through the wire, I again see the same provider page but with a new poppy (now the second computer). DHCP does not work for the router, I get IP from Provo. and at the same time I can use only one computer (the poppy of which I will save in the settings of the provider).
The web interface does not work, the router does not respond, just do not see it.
I tried to upload the firmware via tftp but I could not get a connection, on the Internet all the instructions boiled down to:
Set a static ip 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1
, hold down the reset button on the turned off router, turn on the router.
and run tftp -i 192.168.1.6 put c:\firmware.bin or ( tftp -i 192.168.2.1 put c:\firmware.bin 192.168.2.6 )
Timeout occurred

Weird. You see the web interface of the provider, but the router does not work for you. Draw a complete diagram of the current connection.
Should be:
computer <-------> router <----> provider
In the router for flashing, you most often need to stick into the first port.
In safe mode, routers usually take IP 192.168.1.1, try setting it to 192.168.1.2 and ping 1.1. It's most likely a router. There and pour the firmware.
Everyone has magic buttons) Look through your router settings .
