Is it possible to restore a time machine backup from two disks to one?

I have a macbook with 2 hard drives. Both go to the time machine (sort of).
Question: when migrating to a new Mac, where there will be only one disk through this backup, what will it look like, and will it look like at all?

emnip, different disks are backed up in different backups, not in one. and when restoring there will be a select option.
