Is it possible to reinstall the axis on a macbook pro without a battery (only power supply)?

Question: I have a macbook pro, 2011, 15'. The battery was swollen and had to be disconnected. Then I decided to reinstall the axis from scratch and the installer gets an error that the computer is not connected to the power supply. I think the battery is being checked in some way. No further. Thanks for the advice)

The battery is not tested. Such a message is issued when the power supply is not connected, i.e. when it works only from the battery and when the charge is low. 2011 should work normally from the unit without a battery, including updating and reinstalling the axle.
