He kept all the information on BestCrypt encrypted containers. Of course no one knows the password. How can I recover the password for the container? Parameters - AES (Rijndael) with CBC, KG-Ghost with SHA256. Do not offer Passware Forensic Kit - it does not know the KG-Ghost module.

"standard password" from saved passwords - brute force. Your only hope is that the password for the vault was used somewhere else - it was randomly typed into the place of the username in the browser and saved in history, used for other things and was saved. Right now, any ransomware virus is capable of encrypting everything in such a way that it will not be possible to restore it. Searching for a vulnerability in the encryption itself is useless.
