Is it possible to recover deleted files from a zip archive?

The situation is this. Worked with the site via FTP through Total Commander. Downloaded to the local computer (to an external drive) a zip-archive with a backup.
While doing a comparison of the contents of the folders on the server and on the local disk, I accidentally deleted the file of important files from the archive.
Those. the files have been removed from the zip archive located on the external hard drive.
Question: is it possible to recover these deleted files?

If the archiver does not change the original file, but creates a temporary one, deletes the old one and renames the new one, then you can try searching for recovery programs. If the archive is large, then most likely it is already partially overwritten, but you can try the recovery function of the same WinRAR to at least extract the broken file.
If the file is being edited, then most likely the data has disappeared.
