Maybe. Here is another version of the board: www.adafruit.com/product/1491 and the library for it: https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_CC3000_Library. You can also search on ebay.
I recommend to immediately look for both the library and reviews on the board.

It is much easier to take a router like mr3020 and connect a screen to it via UART / SPI.
