Is it possible to rebuild raid 10 into 1 without demolishing the system?

Hello colleagues the essence of the question is as follows.
I collected an array and already installed it.
According to the plan
md0-RAID UUUU /root
md1 - RIAID1 UUUU /
A assembled
md0-RAID UUUU /root
md1 - RIAID1 UUUU /
Is it possible to overtake a raid from 10 to 1 without demolishing wasps.
something like
mdadm --grow /dev/md1 --raid-disk=4 --level=1
But most likely the process can only be in the opposite direction.
Can't check 6 gigs are going into array ;(
[[email protected] ~]# cat /proc/mdstat
Personalities : [raid10] [raid1]
md0 : active raid1 sdd1[3] sdc1[2] sda1[0] sdb1[1]
1048512 blocks super 1.0 [4/4] [UUUU]
bitmap: 0/1 pages [0KB], 65536KB chunk
md1 : active raid10 sdc2[2] sdb2[1] sdd2[3] sda2[0]
5858169856 blocks super 1.1 512K chunks 2 near-copies [4/4] [UUUU]

@ShamblerR

The safest option is to pick up a couple of disks in a mirror and transfer them.
And I didn’t understand what you meant by writing the same thing in “According to the plan” and in “A collected”.

@opium

make a backup, change the raid type, roll up the backup
