Hello. Never worked with Sphinx. It is necessary to reindex it, as it gives not quite correct search results.
As I understand it, this is done through the command line. The trouble is that I only have ftp access. Can I, as a solution to my problem, download the entire site for myself, execute indexing commands and upload the site back? And if so, where exactly are the files that I need?

how do you restart the service?
and will not overwrite files under a running daemon.
it is better to look in the crown of the task.
when starting the server, there must be a command to start the sphinx.
full reindex with some kind of periodicity
differential index more often (although this is unlikely to be used by you)
