Is it possible to put RAM of a different frequency in the mother?

Good afternoon, can you tell me if I can insert RAM with a frequency of 2400Mhz into the motherboard (asus q170m-c) with a g4500 Pentium processor.
So, in the future I will replace the processor with an i5 with vPro support.
The 7th generation i5 supports a minimum frequency of 2400Mhz, i.e. if I set it to 2133mhz now, I will have to change the RAM later.
if it does not start with a 2400Mhz RAM, can it be lowered somehow by running it with a working bar?

For God's sake. The fact that the RAM has a maximum passport frequency of 2400 mhz only means that this frequency is the maximum passport frequency . Above - overclocking (here as lucky), below - no problems.
