Is it possible to proxy browser traffic by enabling FTP on the router?

Hello! There is a router with the ability to enable FTP and telnet in the settings. Can I use bitvise or some other application to use this router as a proxy and surf the Internet through its IP?

Hello,
Router or router and is designed to allow you to access the Internet from other computers through it.
Bitvise is an ssh server/client for Windows and has nothing to do with the router.
Ftp and telnet are services that are used to transfer files or communicate between devices on the Internet or local area network. Enabling them on the device has nothing to do with the proxy.
Your question is very difficult to understand. Can you write down exactly what you need?

"... and the volleys of a thousand guns merged into one drawn-out howl ..." - the well-known quatrain that always arises when reading such a stream of consciousness.
1. Specify the model of the router (you can just take a picture of the underside of the case :) if you are at a loss)
2. The task of the router is to transfer packets from LAN to WAN and vice versa, filter them if necessary, provide NAT if necessary. There are many more things that a router can do, but the above is its main task.
3. FTP - File Transfer Protocol and the client of the same name usually. It has nothing to do with proxying and access to the Internet. Supporting it on the router usually means that you can insert a flash drive and download from it within the network.
4. Telnet is a very old remote control protocol (TELecommunication NETwork). Usually used to control "stupid" devices - because of its simplicity. Does not provide ANY security, passwords are transmitted in clear text. It has nothing to do with proxying and access to the Internet.
5. Bitvise - SSH client for Windows. If the router can be controlled via ssh, then this program can control it. Through the command line. Again, it has nothing to do with proxying.
Decide somehow - what do you need? The router will give access to the Internet without any proxying - if it is configured correctly of course.
