Hello!

Is it possible to programmatically disable the battery on a Macbook Pro? So that when you sit from charging, the battery is turned off. Physical disabling is not an option.

You can programmatically set the battery charge limit via https://github.com/davidwernhart/AlDente (for old axes, see previous releases)
Look in the study what percentage is optimal there.

What for do you need it? All the same, it is not used if you are powered by charging.
