Is it possible to pass data (js, json, yml) to Gulp-Panini?

gulp.js

I'm using Gulp-panini .
It follows from the panini docks that data can be transferred from the data/global.json folder to any html components that are located in the partials folder.

data
    global.json
partials
    block-1/block.html
    block-2/block.html

Maybe someone in the know, I want to put my json in the block folder for convenience.
