How can I open both a local folder and ftp in the same window in VS Code?
This is very conveniently implemented in PHP/WebStorm.
Is it possible to do the same in VS code?

you can
just add a local folder to the workspace.
I'm using RemoteFS plugin for ftp access and in the same list below there could be a local folder
