How to work with multiple projects in Visual Studio Code?

Guys, there are a dozen projects between which you need to switch from time to time as soon as some edits come. For now, I'm just doing "open folder". Is there a more harmonious way to switch between selecting projects that you use(-were) and could recommend?

And what does not suit the workspace?
I have combined a dozen projects of projects into one workspace, git works for each project. I set up debuggers for each project.
