Is it possible to move an image off the edge of the canvas (workspace) in Adobe Photoshop CC?

Guys, tell me please, is it possible in photoshop to take out images beyond the edge of the canvas so that they do not disappear, but are visible as in illustratore just outside the canvas?

You can take it out of bounds, but it will always be invisible. One way in Photoshop, another way in Illustrator. Se la vie.

Can. When creating a host, click on the checkmark artboard.
And if you take a certain layer and move it behind the canvas, then another artboard is created.
For an already created document, select from the tools by pressing three dots, artboard v button
