You are approaching the issue from the wrong side.
If you want to earn and make a profit - GET A JOB WHERE THE SALARY IS PAYED.
If you want to write something technically cool, then 99% of the time you can't sell it.
You need to clearly understand that they are not selling a beautiful technical solution. Sell ​​what the customer is willing to pay money for. Do you have a client? Do you have an understanding of who will buy your program? If not, go to the studio, gain experience in working with the audience.
