Is it possible to make a website about someone else's company without asking?

The idea is to make a cafe website, as if just to be. And then, when the owners of the cafe are interested in where such a site came from, invite them to buy it. If they don’t want to buy (I’ll say that I’ll sell it to someone else =), they will strongly insist on closing - well, I’ll close it.
What are the risks? Can they run over for using, for example, their logo or other symbols? What if I quickly close the site, anyway?
I’m thinking further, maybe everyone can do websites like this without their knowledge :)

Like, to catch up and make happy?..
At best, they will shrug their shoulders, at worst, they will sue for using the logo and take everything away for free or force them to close it, plus they will exact compensation for the moral damage caused.

Better make an abstract site (template for CMS) and show it to potential clients. Whoever likes it - he will buy, put his logo.

If they have a logo - a registered trademark, they can run over.
But you can not use their logo, then they will not run over.
But the fact that they will buy this site is very unlikely. It will be much easier for them to write their own if they want to allocate money.

Of course you can.

They can run into :-) but if you think in terms of law, then you do not risk anything. It is unlikely that the cafe has a registered trademark, and if so, then as long as you do not use it for profit, everything is in order.
