Is it possible to make a site with the functionality of a social network on a site-constructor?
I am a UI / UX designer, I created a prototype for a mobile site with social network functionality (likes, comments, private messages, adding friends, etc.) I would like to test the idea first, it will not work. Therefore, we plan to launch an MVP version of the product. There are a huge number of website builders today. The question is, is it possible to do something similar on such sites, or are they mostly just sawing simple landing pages? At this stage, this is a significant factor for me, since I would like to test a lot of ideas for a minimal budget.

It is forbidden. Moreover, creating even the simplest social network in terms of functionality will cost you a hell of a lot of money. It only seems to you out of ignorance that it can be difficult there, but in fact the amount of work there on the software side is colossal.
There is an opensource social network, https://www.opensource-socialnetwork.org/
This is a normal social network, with posts, likes, comments, blackjack and whores.
Cost - 0, works on PHP, installed in half an hour.
A big plus is that there are source codes, you can finish anything yourself and however you like.
Depends on the functionality, if it's just a forum with a function - a question / answer, then you can, if you want something complicated - no. In terms of money, this issue is easy to solve with crutches, for example, closed VK groups were often used to store photos as bottomless storage. Please describe your idea in more detail.
Ordinary website builders - no. There are several projects on the English-speaking Internet that provide platforms with social media functionality on a paid basis. (I haven’t seen anything like this in Runet.) But this is a bad option, which is only appropriate if you need to launch the network very urgently and with the usual functionality, without adding something of your own.
If you do it normally, then AlexVWill correctly advised using a ready-made open source engine. You need to put it on a regular hosting or VDS, and further refine it for your needs. In particular, if you need an analogue of VKontakte, then there is such a project OpenVK .
It is enough to google the open source social network and here you will find the engines, frameworks, plugins, top 10, top 15 and open source projects on github in the results
. Just clicking the mouse to make a social network will not work, you still have to write the code

PS. Your work is cool)
You need a noukod, it seems. Try this

Likes, comments out of the box, with adding friends you will need to set up the logic yourself, with private messages only the biggest plug - you need to make crutches, but they have solutions on the forum.
