Is it possible to limit the amount of RAM allocated per process in Windows?

Good evening!
I ran into a problem that when working in one program, when compiling an "accidentally" incorrect request, the program starts to eat up all the RAM and after that the system hangs tightly. I wanted to ask if there is any way to limit the allocated memory per process? so that at least the program crashes, and not the whole system

@rusbaron

Can.
times .
Two .
Three (did not try).
But!
This is a bad idea, because this OS (with the exception of Windows Server 2008 and above) tries to swap what it cannot swallow.
