Who can advise what as a media player for Windows and for linux
In Mac OS, MPlayerX really likes its minimalistic interface, omnivorousness, gentleman's set of functions and, at the same time, free of charge. I really want something similar for other platforms.
I know about Vlc

In Windows MPC-HC for video and foobar2000 for music.
In Linux, mpv with muzzles for video and MPD for music.
