Is it possible to learn and make a render (+processing in Photoshop) of a book cover in six months?
I worked in 3d, well, as I worked, it was purely a hobby for two years. I didn’t make much progress in this regard, but I know 3ds max at a strong intermediate level, I worked for several hours in Zbrush, Maya, I know the principle of working in Substaince Painter and Designer. Plus, I can navigate in Photoshop, although also at the level of a novice amateur. So here's what I want to do:
In half a year, at best a year, I would like to (ideally) make 3d models of my book character (template dwarf) and, I'm not sure, maybe a few more things from the book. After all this textured, rendered and finalized in Photoshop.
Is it realistic for me to meet the deadline? At least make a model, not to mention textures and rendering. I know anatomy ... so-so. Plus draw on the graph. it doesn’t work on a tablet, but sculpting in zbrush is a pleasure, even if it turns out freaks, but like this, if you draw on paper, with a pencil, or with a pen, well, it will be beautiful for five-graders.
Personally, I think that you can do it, but it will take a lot of effort.

If it is important to get the result by the deadline, I would order this work to a freelancer, and in the meantime I would take my time, calmly study and make my own version.
