Is it possible to know if a QProcess requires input?

I am writing an IDE for my own simple programming language with an interpreter. When the idea came up to receive output from the interpreter and redirect it to the IDE, I decided to use QProcess. Get the output is obtained, but the interpreter also provides input. But, as you yourself understand, there is not always an input, and sometimes you need to enter something several races. So, the question is: is it possible to somehow get the information, does the process require input?
