Is it possible to introduce a server running Win 2008 into a domain running Win 2003?

Good afternoon!
The Office has 2 servers, one domain (Windows Server 2003), the second just like a file
(Windows Server 2003)!
Now we need to buy a third one, but it will already be (Windows Server 2008)!
The challenge is to upgrade to Server 2008!
The question is, can I add a Server 2008 server to a domain running Server 2003?

Can. Just the domain role will be Win2003. Then slowly update Windows and when all servers are on Win2008 - raise the domain level to 2008.
And indeed, 2015 is in the yard. VinServ 2016 is about to be released, and you are only going to switch to 2008. Although it is clear - they do not allocate money.

So is it possible or not?

Can.
And you can make a domain controller.
I have an old 2003 DC (I don't turn it off, because it runs like a Virtual Machine, among a few more, there are enough resources and does not ask for food) and a new 2008 DC. Turning off any one of them users do not notice.
