Is it possible to install RAM with a higher frequency than allowed on the motherboard and processor?

I welcome everyone. I had a certain problem when assembling spare parts, but I collect for the first time and I can make a mistake.
Is it possible to install RAM with a higher frequency than allowed on the motherboard and processor and how will it work?

RAM DDR4 G.SKILL RipJaws 32 GB (16x2) 3000 MHz (F4-3000C16D-32GVRB)
CPU Intel Core i5-10400 Motherboard
Gigabyte B460 HD3 LGA1200

I would be very grateful to everyone who can help.

Can.
It will work at the maximum frequency supported by the mother.
Or it won't work at all.
