Is it possible to install GRUB on RAID 0?

I have accumulated a few screws, and I wanted something strange - to deploy RAID0 (I can up to 6 disks) and install an OS on this disgrace. Software array (LINUX, UBUNTU).
Faced with the fact that GRUB does not want to get up on a similar design.
Is there a solution? (the question of reliability and safety of data is not discussed)

You can file LVM instead of RAID0, the effect will be the same. Only Volume can be transferred in which case to another group or hard.
