Is it possible to install .bin firmware?

Is it possible to install bin firmware from a specific manufacturer on linux?
There is a server from a certain vendor running on linux. For it, it is possible to download the firmware with the .bin extension. Is it possible to install it?
Simply running this file does not produce any results or errors.
Is it real at all?

Do you write specifically what kind of manufacturer, what kind of firmware (size, does it open with notepad \ cat)? How is the update going? This firmware is from what, maybe. is this bios?

It looks like it can be opened either by the program that created it, or uploaded through the web interface.
