Is it possible to install beta 3.4, and if the glitches do not disappear, roll back to 3.3 with the settings saved?

After updating to 3.3, it broke, which worked. How can I try beta 3.4 and if it doesn't help, go back to stable 3.3 with settings and other things saved?
