Is it possible to insert a Metrica pixel into an email and collect the ClientID?

The person opens the letter, the picture pulls the server. As a result, visitors appear in Yandex.Metrica in the section of the same name and make a segment. Has anyone tried doing this in mail?

No.
And if you can, then you have found a vulnerability, or the recipient is using something very outdated.

Theoretically it is possible, the specification of protocols does not interfere.
There will be practically no sense, because:
- In MS Outlook, pictures may not be shown by user settings or policies
- In TB, pictures are definitely not shown by default
- Any corporate mail server can do anything with a letter. Here, "anything" is taken literally . He can transform it in any way, throw out anything from it, strip it to bare text, cut out links
.
