Is it possible to hyperlink to a local file in Skype?

We use Skype as our main messenger at work. Periodically, there is a need to specify the path of the location of a particular file on the server. Copy-paste of the path from the explorer is depressing. Is it possible to create a hyperlink to a file in Skype?

Get this thing on a local server . After inserting a link, it will be a link. And you can put a file hosting service on your local server.
