Is it possible to hide sections or cart and prices in Wordpress, in a template designed for an online store?

I make a catalog website (which will later possibly become a store), select a suitable Wordpres theme, choose from the themes proposed for online store projects.
Question 1: Will it be possible to remove or hide the shopping cart, prices with everything related to the purchase of goods, because the site should look just like a catalog (photo, article, characteristics and all). ? advise which topics to choose from if not from themes for online stores
Question 2: Is it possible to remove, hide (generally do not use) some blocks, for example, a slider from the main one, or a section to subscribe.
