Is it possible to group the list and menu of Categories alphabetically in Opencart, like in Brands?

By default, Opencart 1.5.6 displays Categories as a simple list and Brands as a very neat list. Example: maroshka.com/brand
Is there such a solution for Opencart?

Look at the code, I'm sure that some kind of sorting function is used (for brands)
