Is it possible to get the android emulator to work in Xamarin on windows 7 64 bit?

Hello. I download from site visual studio, during installation I choose a development kit on xamarin, on windows 10 the android emulator starts normally, but on windows 7 it does not work. As far as I understand this story is officially compatible only from windows 8 and above. Question: are there any patches / tricks / crutches to make it work on 7k? Thank you.
