“No, what are you saying: the path is closed without a doctoral degree,” is that the answer you wanted to hear?
Is it possible to get a specialized UI/UX education somewhere other than London? :) An education that everyone will care about. Recommendations are often appreciated from teachers of specialized studios, practitioners who grow their own in-house designers, but some are simply ready to give a recommendation if they are not ready to work for them. If you took such a course, even from Lebedev or someone eminent, and received a good recommendation, then this is more likely to be more important than the crust about the tower (although I really doubt that there are universities that can honestly say that they release UI / UX).
The ideal option, of course, is to get some kind of "super education" for a solid foundation and read a lot of specialized literature. Although, now, everyone will say, they say, why spend a lot of time on such a specialized education. But we are talking about the most relevant and, so to speak, training close to the industry. Another problem is time. How to properly distribute it in order to study and work. Although, now someone will say, they say: "Time? And what problems can there be here? .." )))
