Moreover, the information on the site is 7 years old. It's not that it somehow interferes with us, but it's already tired of explaining to everyone that we have not had anything to do with this site for a long time. All the more what-no impact on reputation.

Maybe they just went in the wrong direction? Ask the hoster to leave a message to the site owner that he is wasting money and the site can be closed. If the hoster refuses, in principle, you can follow this path:
