Is it possible to find out the model of the voice recorder by the characteristics of the audio recording?

There are audio recordings, the question arose with what equipment (presumably a voice recorder) they were made. One of the entries has tags: OLYMPUS:(Binary) - presumably made by Olympus, but the model is not specified. Is it possible at all, the characteristics of most voice recorders are either the same (in terms of the quality of the recording) or intersect? Do voice recorders leave any unique "trace" (signal) in the recording?
