Is it possible to find a job as a coder and where?

Hello. Please tell me, is it possible with knowledge of HTML / CSS / Bootstrap, a little Javascript to find a job as a layout designer, at least somewhere? I try to freelance - KWORK, WEBLANCER, UPWORK - but there they don’t even look at newcomers without rating and reviews. In general, complete silence, although I know that I will definitely cope with the tasks that appear there. There is a small portfolio https://github.com/nikitasalnikov/nikitasalnikov.g...
Maybe someone will tell you how to be, how to send an application correctly. Maybe someone will help in getting reviews and ratings, or even offer a job so that I can develop and earn at least some money for my education. I already want to work.

Everything is real. But such vacancies shoot up once a year. If not less often. Here is a clear example . You should become a layout guru, have a cool portfolio. In order to " Catch your moment of luck " at a certain moment . (c)
And yes, as someone wrote here in the comments, in order to become a highly specialized specialist, you will have to work a lot of time as a generalist. In this case, Front-end.
PS I was convinced of this personally.
Also from personal experience. Freelancing also requires a portfolio. And preferably with real projects. No fish text. KWORK is more for selling services than taking orders. Plus, it's full of newbies just like you. Forget UPWORK. With your knowledge, you will not pass registration and verification. In general, promotion of a freelance account takes from 5 to 12 months. To at least start earning some money there.
In summary, you need to build a portfolio. This is the most important step. Here is a link to the TG channel, where you can fish out layouts of varying complexity.

Let me sum up all the above and what I have given. No matter what anyone says, a beginner can start making money on freelance. Yes, you definitely need a portfolio. But ... most customers will stupidly not consider you as a performer if you are not even in the first 5 who responded. The competition is strong and no one wants to view all 50+. As a beginner, I calmly registered on Upwork and even received the Rising talent badge (what the heck is needed) on Kwork as well. I have been working for three months now. Sometimes large orders come across. But the commissions are crazy, and even transferring from Upwork to your card is still a headache and a bunch of commissions. But the customers there are adequate. What can not be said about the Russian exchange Kwork and quite inadequate customers there, especially those who really want for 500 rubles to have almost the entire site done for them. So if you want and due perseverance, you can work and earn money for a beginner. At least to pay for their studies for further growth. Which is exactly what I do. well, plus it falls on gasoline and bread. But about some web studios, they say the requirements are simpler there than on freelance, but they generally pay pennies, so it’s not even enough to study, or they require experience from 1+ and with knowledge of both front-end and back-end. At least in Uzbekistan, this is the case. As in other countries, I do not know. or they require experience from 1+ and with knowledge of both front-end and back-end.
